Did you see the fox this morning?
After the rainstorm last night. The sun still shaking off the drops of water and clouds parting like drapes.
It ran through the field. It's amber head bobbing through the tall grass. Its tail chasing after.
The dogs did not notice. Cooper sniffing the air for the elusive rabbit.
But I saw a glimpse of the master thief done with his duties and off to his den.
Leaving only his scent for Cooper to chase while on his leash.
