Self-Care Reminder: Show yourself the compassion you show others. In the pace of the day-to-day, we are often focused outside of ourselves and miss the necessary inward connection. And while compassion for others is important, remembering to give ourselves the same caring is key. It’s easy to be critical of ourselves. Our self-talk is often not supportive of the growth we need to expand. As Louise Hay said “We’ve been criticizing ourselves for years and it hasn’t worked, let’s try approving of ourselves and see what happens.”
